Did you know there’s a modern version of orthodontics that consists of a series of virtually invisible plastic retainers which cover the teeth and slowly realign them into their proper positions?

The system is called Invisalign®, and it uses retainers called “aligners,” which can be removed while eating, brushing your teeth or flossing.

At our office we use a custom-made series of aligners that are specifically designed for your teeth. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable plastic that’s worn over your teeth, so it doesn’t irritate your cheeks or gums, like some metal braces do. There are no metal brackets, wires or rubber bands.

Invisalign® is a great orthodontic solution to treat problems like overcrowded teeth, misaligned teeth and bite problems (such as cross bite, overbite, under bite an open bite). Invisalign® also helps with correcting gaps and spaces between the teeth.

During the Invisalign® treatment, you get a new aligner to wear approximately every two weeks until the completion of your treatment. We monitor your progress through occasional checkups, usually once every six weeks.

At every stage of the Invisalign® process, you will be able to see your dream smile coming to fruition. Many of our patients love Invisalign® because it’s barely noticeable, and you don’t have to put your life on hold for this orthodontic treatment.
